Voice transmission via data networks is becoming increasingly relevant due to the immense saving potential. In complex corporate networks, existing telephone systems are not usually replaced but rather a functioning unit must be ensured between the package based networks and the connection of the traditional voice environment.
The workshop Voice Basics imparts the necessary knowledge to participants so they can implement voice transmissions efficiently in data networks. Besides imparting basic principles in the area of voice transmission, special attention is paid to the necessary parametrical settings in the data network as well as the connection of private branch exchanges to data networks.
